If this selection is marked, you'll have the option of making a backup copy of your MYOB AccountEdge data file whenever you choose Quit or Open from the File menu. If you choose one of these commands, a dialog box will appear, asking whether you wish to make a backup.

This option is marked for you when you begin using the Easy Setup Assistant. We recommend that you leave this option marked and that you make regular backups, since using a current set of backups often is the easiest way to restore your accounting records if a serious problem arises.
